GH:WoR has nothing of considerable difficulty really. The only song I'd really be impressed by at this point is FotS or Bloodlines. Those two are gonna be the only songs remaining after the initial release date grinding.

Yeah but Decimate was possible. pwnaphone would be like tier 11 on drums at the very least.
but yeah this game doesn't seem that ridiculous in terms of FCing, other than Move it on Over on X+

If you ask me, Whereever I may Roam shoud not come back on the list, hell, even I could FC it with some practice.
The Shortest Straw however is full of triple kicks, which gives the song a whole new twist. |

He commented that he was talking on the phone. Not unusual for him to talk on the phone/in an XBL party during his videos. :P

Also, I'm EXTREMELY close to TTRTS (I just call it that because I like that better :P). I might have it if I want to grind it, but I've never really been known to grind songs that much. The only thing I've possibly ever tried a couple times in a row just to get an FC was In Memory on RBN and If You Want Peace Prepare for War (Both were successful, so I could probably slam it if I was really that motivated.)

What makes move it on over on X+ such a hard FC? It pretty fast, but it is the same beat the whole time. Someone with good sticking technique could probably get that without too much trouble imo.

Yeah, that's what I thought too.....until you play it and get a 86%. Shit's ridiculous, and it's not the same beat the whole time. It's always varying to some degree.

First off is the tempo. 8th notes at a pretty high tempo. Not Ring of Fire speed, but still fast. The fact that it's swung makes it more tiring. Especially over nearly 6 minutes straight. And X+ has soooo many hits (especially really quick doublestrokes) with the non-dominant hand, that gets even more tiring than the constant hihat.
Second is the variation. The bass and snare are essentially random in this song. Nothing may be technically difficult, but I'd argue this song requires more concentration than nearly anything in the game.
Simply put, this song is insane. my SR was 85% with a 75 note streak. And that's with all powers on (including the streak guard) |
