Sounds like you want a wiki.

Wow. This looks exactly like what I need. I'd only share the password with those who wrote the tutorials and information that will be posted on there. But, there is some stuff I'd like to add to this site that I'm not sure free sites are capable of. I'd need the assistance of an experienced website builder.

After I play around with it a bit, I'll make a thread asking for help, and then another one with the finished product. Thanks kata.

Ok this may sound like a stupid question but I'm still a n00b at this so please help me out.

How do I make notes be really close together (for a solo) and still be able to use the * to stop it from being a sustain? (I'm using Tabit BTW)

i use TabIt also...if the notes are close enough together, you wont need the * for them....for example, if you have a bunch of notes like 00000 <<< that close together, you wont need the *, the note will automatically just be a bullet. But if notes are spaced like 0 0 0 0 0 <<< like that or farther, use the *...but for notes very close together, its not neccesary...if you can fit a * in between the notes, then it is needed, if you cant fit a * in between them, then they arent neccessary. Good luck.

Thanks for taking that one Freek.

Someone made a thread asking the same thing to which I replied. If you need them even more closer then read:

F THis there isn't even a tap choice in the freakin tab it program. This sucks.

Oh an i tried this copy and paste shite into the tab it program, works good, if you like your spacing of the notes being all f'ed up.

Did you actually pull this off or make it up.

This has been so much fun i think i will just leech songs and avoid contributing to the project as a whole.

WHy you gotta frustrate me. I can hear you laughing.

Normally, when only a person (out of many satisfied users) doesn't like a program user interface, it's not the program that sucks...
And, with your attitude in the last post, I think you wouldn't contribute much to the community, even if you knew how to follow the idiot proof tutorial.

Yeah, I made up the tutorial and got some people to say that it helped them getting started just so you could have false hopes of a future in custom Guitar Hero songs.

If you want a better answer, you'll need a better attitude.

I was just wondering if anyone had a solution to that problem for Guitar Pro.

Thanks,

Alright, just starting out here...

I'm working on The Spirit of Radio by Rush, and (as I expected), I can't even start.

Kinda like the tutorial said, I copied the tabs from a tab I got from tabit's website into the template...and then I get stuck.

How do I get where to place the GH tabs from what I have already?

This is what I see right now in tabit:

(That's the opening riff, by the way)

How do I translate that?

Thanks,

Use the "Staccato" option.. it will automatically shorten the notes, and you can batch-modify the notes doing this... I <3 GP5

P.S. I almost have my first song done ("Land of Confusion", Disturbed), but I don't have a means of testing it... anyone up for trying it out?
