Whammy Bar Help please!

My whammy bar just stopped working, so I pulled it out lol, and now it's stuck, any ideas?

Open up the guitar and see what the problem is. usually it can be readjusted, unless something snapped, and then you can rubber band it.

I opened it, it's like stuck because I pulled it out kinda because it randomly stopped whammying, I'm wondering if I should just push on it, or un-screw the whammy but that will most likely just break it >_<

Wait..you mean the actual metal bar part of the whammy?

I had the same thing, only I know what I did. I just took the whole whammy bar off. I really just makes it easier because then you don't have something that don't even work in you way.

And if that happens, restarting often works. If you can get it to where it was, try starting again and it may work.

It's fix now

I just had to stick a screw driver in and then push it back in.

On my first axe, the little plastic ear in the whammy mechanism broke. It still works, but it's limp. I've been told this can be fixed with rubber bands, but I'm not sure where to attach them to. I did use bands on my second axe to make the feel of the spring tighter, but what I did there won't work on the broken one. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a topic that covers this little problem?

If you mean the little plastic part inside that pulls the actual spring sections apart, then I have a fix for that. *gets camera ready*

Super glue does wonders if you've actually broken the little metal part of the bar out of the controller...I've done that before and the whammy bar works fine after a drop of super glue.
